Artist and Illustrator Michiel Fook, of Brokeart knows how hard it is to get publicity and sell your art. A painting takes allot time to make, and the cost of purchasing an original painting are also very high. Buying an original painting is not attainable for everyone… And for an artist it means that there is only a small market of people with the right “taste” and budget for his art. The ideal solution for this are “limited reproductions on canvas and / or prints”. Production costs and time of a print or reproduction is much lower than the original, there are more people who could afford a reproduction, meaning you get a much larger market. The original stays safely in the artist possession, and could still be sold. . Even from canvases that have been sold, limited edition prints and reproduction can still be made! which means: Profit from the canvas, plus the profits of the reproductions.

This way of working has proved very successful for Brokeart. Now we want to help other artists with the knowledge and experience we have gained.

With this in mind, the Platform Brokeart & Friends “was born. Brokeart & Friends is a webshop where we will sell art together with prints and reproductions of work from a selective group of artists and photographers.
We will also, organize exhibitions and events so as to give more publicity artists group for the, “Brokeart & Friends” group.
Galleries are usually focused on the traditional art and not Streetart, where as ‘Brokeart and Friends’ will truly become a place where ‘Streetart’ in the broadest sense of the word, can be found.

The concept is quite simple, when we have chosen someone to join the Brokeart & Friends selection, the artist or photographer will send us his or her work digitally. This is then added to the webshop. The artist or photographer has no further worries, and no production cost or time. All prints are printed in the Brokeart Studio, which enables us to ensure the best quality. When the product of the artist is sold through the webshop, it is printed and made ready to be sent to the client.

Once the customer has paid. The artist or photographer will get a confirmation by email, and the artist or photographer will send us a invoice agreed amount, and the amount will be transferred into their bank account within seven days. How much the artwork is going to be, in the webshop is up to you. You decide for yourself what you want for your work.
You will also decide how much of your product will eventually will be printed. The reproductions continue to hold a special value as a limited edition print. For example, a repro / print limited edition of 25, 50 or 100 pieces. Every canvas will also a number card, signed by the artist with the number of the canvas.

Brokeart & Friends is always looking for artists and photographers to strengthen our group. they could be Well-known artists or new young talents. However, we will be selective in taking on new artists, the artist must fit into the existing group, but also add something new and fresh. So we can ensure that we have a pretty diverse range of artworks to offer, and continue to inspire each other.

Tables for Streetrockaz.nl -Rauwkost-

Streetrockaz.nl has asked me to design 3 tables for there upcoming event -Rauwkost- the 8th of April.

Other then the 3 tables, there was a small exposition with many Deelie Paintings. You can check out a small compilation that was made that night, by Streetrockaz.

I can proudly anounnece that on the first of September my beautiful daughter Miley was born.
The past weeks have been very exciting for us, so i wanted to spend extra time with Jolanda. with the result that there wasnt allot of time left to edit and upload all the Deelie Brokeart video’s.

Starting today i am back working a 100% for brokeart with extra energy, motivation and inspiration.
instead of uploading one Deelie Brokeart video everyday, i will upload 2 video’s each day to get back on track with the video’s
